Job Description
Job Title: Urology Locum Physician
Summary:
Join a dedicated team at a community hospital located in Burien Washington providing urology coverage for 3-4 this locum position you will be part of a supportive environment managing a blend of outpatient and inpatient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide general urology patient care in an ambulatory clinic and community hospital.
- Perform urology office procedures including cystoscopy vasectomies and prostate biopsies.
- Schedule and conduct OR cases for treatment of BPH kidney stones and other general urology cases.
- Manage a patient load of approximately 10-16 clinic patients per day.
- Participate in call rotation providing support for established patients and emergency cases.
- Collaborate with a hospitalist team for admissions and cross-discipline consultations.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for efficient patient management.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Urology - Required
- Current Washington State Medical License - Required
- Availability to start in June - Required
- ACLS BLS and DEA certifications - Required
- Must have a clean background and malpractice history - Required
- Local candidates preferred to avoid travel - High Preference
License and Certification Requirements:
- Washington Medical License - Required
- Board Certification in Urology - Required
- ACLS and BLS Certifications - Required
- DEA Registration - Required
