Job Description
Job Opportunity: Locum - Physician - Otolaryngology
Join an esteemed Ear Nose and Throat Clinic in Fort Collins Colorado as a Locums Otolaryngologist. This facility offers a collaborative environment focused on providing high-quality care to patients with a dynamic practice structure involving both adult and pediatric cases. You will cover up to 2 weekends per month while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide weekend practice coverage (Friday 7 AM - Monday 7 AM).
- Manage a diverse caseload with a practice percentage of 95% adult and 5% pediatric patients.
- Conduct both surgical and non-surgical procedures including endoscopic procedures such as septal sinus and bronchoscopy.
- Oversee a daily average of 18 office/clinic patients with opportunities for additionals.
- Handle post-operative care for general ENT conditions including sinus otologic endocrine and head & neck issues.
- Utilize EMR system (EPIC) for efficient patient record management.
- Participate in local hospital visits as required for urgent patient issues.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified (ABMS/AOA) in Otolaryngology (Board eligible within 2 years of residency may be considered).
- Active Colorado Medical License or active IMLC.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Local provider strongly preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board certification in Otolaryngology is required.
- Active state license in Colorado is a must.
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be current.
