Job Description
Job Title: Permanent Thoracic Surgeon in Columbus OH

Located within the vibrant city scene this established health system is seeking an experienced BC/BE Thoracic Surgeon to further develop a growing thoracic program. Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a thoracic surgery program to meet community needs.
- Perform both inpatient and outpatient procedures including all aspects of general thoracic surgery.
- Participate in a collaborative surgical team with dedicated APP support.
- Manage a mix of surgical cases and outpatient visits on a Monday to Friday schedule with weekend call rotation.
- Work closely with a large referral base among the medical group and community partners.
- Provide consultative hospital services and support for a multi-disciplinary tumor board.
- Utilize EPIC for documentation and maintain a patient-centered team-based approach.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Thoracic Surgery (within 2 years of eligibility).
- Fellowship-trained in Thoracic Surgery.
- Clean malpractice and license history.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification (or able to obtain).
