Job Description
Join Our Cardiothoracic Surgery Team in Fort Lauderdale FL!

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to work in a collaborative mission-driven setting supported by a dedicated healthcare team. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
- Participate in both inpatient and outpatient care including rounding and clinic visits.
- Share on-call responsibilities (1012 days/month including 2 weekends/month).
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary medical team.
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation and coordination of care.
- Manage an average of 20 patients per day.
- Contribute to the development of the Cardiothoracic Surgery program as the second surgeon.
- Provide call and emergency surgical coverage.
- Note: Not open to new graduates or truly Board Eligible candidates.
- Note: Not open to APPs (Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants).
- Note: Must have an active Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery (Required).
- Completed Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery (Required).
- Florida License or application in progress (Required).
- 5-6 years of relevant experience (Required).
- Clean malpractice and licensing history (Required).
- J-1 Visa candidates are accepted (must be noted).
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery - Required
- Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery - Required
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- DEA certification is required.
