Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine in Jackson OH
Join a thriving community practice located in the heart of Jackson Ohio! Our facility is dedicated to providing top-notch emergency medical services. With three emergency departments across Holzer Meigs Gallipolis and Jackson were looking for an experienced Emergency Medicine provider. The ideal candidate will support our commitment to quality care and be available for a minimum of 5 shifts a month with a preference for 8-10 shifts. Availability can begin as soon as credentialing is completed typically within 45-60 days.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Oversee Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) during shifts.
- Manage patient admissions discharges and transfers efficiently.
- Consult with specialists including radiologists cardiologists and pulmonologists as needed.
- Utilize All Scripts/Paragon EMR for patient documentation.
- Conduct patient assessments formulate diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
- Deliver care during shifts that primarily span both days and nights.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
- 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine.
- Proficient in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Current Ohio state license (or willing to obtain) and compliant with IMLC requirements.
- Ability to work nights weekends and flexible shifts as needed.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Ohio state medical license or IMLC with proof of Letter of Qualification (LOQ).
- Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination.
- Must have malpractice insurance included at the specified hourly rate cap.
