Job Summary

Job Title: Locum - Physician - Emergency Medicine

Join a well-regarded facility in Cambridge Ohio known for its commitment to providing quality emergency medical care. This opportunity offers the chance to work in an environment that values teamwork and patient-centered approaches. The facility handles an annual volume of patients averaging 55-60 patients daily. Shifts are available during the day and night catering to diverse schedules and needs. You will be working in a facility equipped with 17 beds ensuring you have the resources you need to deliver excellent care.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients.
Work a minimum of 5 shifts per month including nights and weekends.
Utilize MediTech EMR for efficient patient management.
Collaborate closely with other medical staff to ensure smooth operations.
Participate in transfer processes with various locations as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to best practices.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in emergency medicine.
Ability to handle high patient volumes effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

License and Certification Requirements:

Must hold an active Ohio state medical license; IMLC accepted with proof of LOQ.
Valid ACLS ATLS BLS PALS and NRP certifications are required.
COVID-19 vaccination is required.
Clean background check is mandatory.
