Job Opportunity: Locum Emergency Medicine Physician
Join a dynamic healthcare facility in the vibrant city of Cambridge Ohio as an Emergency Medicine Physician. This locum position requires dedicated professionals to manage an annual patient volume of approximately . The facility is well-equipped with 17 beds and utilizes MediTech EMR for efficient patient care. We are seeking providers available for a minimum of 5 shifts per month with shifts ranging from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM. Credentialing takes about 45-60 days.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population.
- Collaborate with medical staff across multiple sites including OBleness and Cambridge.
- Oversee patient treatment documentation and care transitions.
- Manage shifts efficiently ensuring coverage during peak hours.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and protocols.
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures while maintaining patient safety and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- 2 years of recent experience in emergency medicine.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clean background - no exceptions.
License and Certification Requirements
- Valid Ohio state medical license (or IMLC).
- BLS ACLS ATLS PALS certifications are mandatory.
- COVID vaccination required.
- Malpractice coverage to be included in the hourly rate cap.
