Job Description
Job Title: Locum Physician - Anesthesiology - Cardiac
Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated cardiac anesthesiologist for a locum position starting June 2 2025 in Phoenix Arizona. The facility provides a comprehensive range of services including cardiac catheterization electrophysiology procedures and various cardiology services. You will be working in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient-centered care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer cardiac anesthesia for catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
- Perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and insert central lines.
- Provide care in the cath lab setting from Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Monitor patients throughout the cath lab procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology - Required
- Arizona license or IMLC - Required
- Anesthesia Residency - Required
- Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship - Preferred
- Clean malpractice history - Required
- Current ACLS BLS and DEA certifications - Required
- Immediate availability upon credential clearance - Required
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Arizona medical license or IMLC (with LOQ in hand).
- Appropriate board certification in Anesthesiology.
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
