Job Description
Locum Physician - Anesthesiology
Join a dedicated team at a prominent medical center in Pueblo Colorado! This esteemed facility is seeking three full-time anesthesiologists to start as soon as possible. With Emergency Privileges being approved candidates can expedite their credentialing process to begin working in a Level 3 Trauma center. Job Responsibilities:
- Manage anesthesiology care in a Level 3 Trauma facility.
- Work full-time with flexible scheduling options for shifts (8 10 or 12 hours).
- Supervise CRNAs in a direction model while also having the option to manage your own cases.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) through Epic.
- Participate in backup overnight call on an as-needed basis.
- Provide comprehensive anesthetic care and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology (or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency).
- Active Colorado license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility.
- Current BLS ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Must have a clear background with no red flags.
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions accepted).
- Must be available for a full-time commitment starting the week of April 7 2025.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Colorado medical license or IMLC.
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology.
- BLS ACLS and PALS certifications.
