Job Description
Job Title: Locum Physician - Hospitalist
Join our dedicated team at a well-respected healthcare facility in Elmira NY starting from June 2025! Our practice offers a comprehensive inpatient experience focusing on the highest standard of care for adult patients.
The facility is renowned for its commitment to quality and compassionate healthcare providing essential services in a supportive environment. The hospital is equipped with advanced medical technologies and is known for its collaborative team approach.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient care including rounding admissions and discharges.
- Work in a closed ICU setting with no in-house codes.
- Attend to an average of 4 admissions per day.
- Manage an average inpatient census of 14 patients daily.
- Collaborate with other hospitalists during locum coverage.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and management.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in a relevant specialty (Hospitalist preferred).
- Active New York state medical license.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
License and Certification Requirements:
