Job Description
Job Description: Locum Physician - Radiology
Join a dynamic healthcare facility in Asheboro North Carolina where you will be part of a dedicated team providing top-notch radiology services. This locum position is focused on mammography general diagnostics and light interventional radiology responsibilities with onsite shifts from Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. The facility is well-equipped with advanced technologies ensuring a supportive environment for both healthcare professionals and patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret 3D and digital mammography along with breast ultrasounds.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies.
- Supervise and assist in fluoroscopy procedures (approximately 3-4 per day).
- Manage routine imaging exams such as X-rays CTs and MRIs.
- Conduct light interventional procedures (5-6 per day) including image-guided biopsies and drainages among others.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified - REQUIRED
- BLS/ACLS Certified - REQUIRED
- Active North Carolina License & DEA - Verbal Confirmation Required
- CDS Certification - REQUIRED
- Provider MUST have clean files to be considered
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active North Carolina medical license
- DEA registration
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Board Certification in Radiology
