Job Description
Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Pediatrics in Atlanta GA
Join a reputable healthcare facility in the heart of Atlanta Georgia as a Locum Physician in Pediatrics! This clinic dedicated to serving the community is looking for a skilled provider to cover maternity leave from April 21st to July 11th. You will work in a supportive environment focused on delivering quality pediatric care.
Location: Chamblee Clinic
Schedule: Monday Wednesday Thursday Friday (potentially reduced to 3 days as needed)
Patient Load: Approximately 24 patients per day
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care to patients.
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments.
- Diagnose and manage various pediatric illnesses.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure quality care.
- Document patient interactions in a timely manner.
- Participate in community health initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Active Georgia medical license and DEA.
- Board Certified in Pediatrics.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience with underserved populations is highly preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active medical license in Georgia (GA).
- DEA registration.
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Current BLS certification.
