Job Description
Job Title: Locum OB/GYN Steubenville OH
Summary: We are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN for locum call coverage at a well-respected medical facility in Steubenville Ohio. This position offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive care at the Birth Center with the support of a skilled team in a community-oriented environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide on-call obstetric and gynecological care during scheduled shifts.
- Manage an average of 4-5 admissions per day.
- Perform C-sections and other delivery-related procedures as required.
- Utilize EMR systems including Meditech and OBIX for patient documentation.
- Conduct follow-up and post-operative care for patients.
- Participate in ensuring quality and safe patient care.
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN Required
- Active Ohio medical license Required
- Current certifications in ACLS BLS and PALS Required
- Clean malpractice history and background Highly Preferred
- Local candidates preferred no need for flights Highly Preferred
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in OB/GYN
- Active Ohio medical license
- Certifications in ACLS BLS PALS and DEA
