Job Description
Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB/GYN
Summary: Join a dedicated team providing obstetric care in the charming city of Fort Morgan Colorado. This facility offers a welcoming environment with a focus on quality patient care. We are seeking an OB/GYN for locum coverage starting in August 2025 with ongoing dates to be determined as the facility finalizes its schedule. Local candidates are preferred due to the need for potential short shifts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide general OB/GYN care to adult geriatric and adolescent patients.
- Participate in 24-hour on-call coverage (7a-7a).
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and management.
- Collaborate with support staff including RNs to ensure optimal patient care.
- Complete all required training and orientation to meet facility protocols.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified OB/GYN - Required
- Active Colorado medical license or IMLC - Required
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Required
- Active DEA registration - Required
- Clean malpractice record and background - Highly Preferred
- Ability to cover full assigned shifts with no partial availability accepted.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Colorado medical license or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at the time of submission).
- Board Certification in OB/GYN.
- Active BLS certification.
- Active DEA registration with the requirement to maintain it for the duration of the assignment.
