Locum OB/GYN Opportunity in Beautiful Steamboat Springs CO
Discover an exciting opportunity at a community-oriented medical center in Steamboat Springs Colorado! We are seeking a dedicated locum OB/GYN physician for full-time coverage to join a supportive team. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care.
- Manage low and high-risk pregnancies including routine and complicated deliveries.
- Supervise certified nurse mid-wives during first call duties.
- Consult with healthcare providers for coordinated patient care.
- Perform office and minor gynecological procedures such as IUD insertions and colposcopy.
- Participate in a call schedule (1 in 4) with a mixture of clinical and on-call responsibilities.
- Document patient information and care using the Epic system.
- Oversee a caseload of 15-20 patients per day and an average of 6 deliveries per week.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified OB/GYN (ABMS/AOA) - REQUIRED
- Active Colorado Medical License or IMLC - REQUIRED
- Available for full-time coverage (minimum three weeks per month) - REQUIRED
- COVID vaccinated - REQUIRED
- Experience with Epic; ability to disclose years of experience and last used date - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in OB/GYN
- Valid Colorado state medical license or IMLC
- Current certifications in all necessary procedures and protocols
