Job Description
Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB/GYN
Join a dedicated healthcare team at a thriving medical facility in Steamboat Springs Colorado. This locum OB/GYN position offers full-time coverage in a beautiful setting providing essential services in a hospital that features 39 beds a Level II nursery and an engaged staff committed to high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care.
- Manage a caseload comprising 50% low-risk and 50% high-risk pregnancies.
- Perform routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
- Oversee gynecological office procedures and minor surgeries.
- Participate in a call schedule of 1 in 4 with approximately 8 days of call per month.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team supervising certified nurse midwives.
- Utilize Epic for all documentation processes.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified OB/GYN (ABMS/AOA) - REQUIRED
- Licensed to practice in Colorado or hold an IMLC - REQUIRED
- Availability for full-time coverage with a minimum of 3 weeks/month - REQUIRED
- COVID Vaccinated - REQUIRED
- Experience with Epic; must disclose years of experience and last utilized date - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Colorado medical license or IMLC.
- Board certification in OB/GYN.
