Job Description
Locum OB/GYN Opportunity in Langhorne PA
Join a vibrant healthcare facility in Langhorne Pennsylvania where we are seeking a skilled Locum OB/GYN to provide essential call coverage starting in July. This practice is set in a hospital environment with a supportive staff including laborists midwives and nursing professionals. The facility is equipped with onsite labs and ultrasound services offering a collaborative atmosphere for patient care. The communitys focus is on balancing low-risk and high-risk pregnancies with a variety of surgical gynecology services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide call coverage for low-risk and high-risk pregnancies
- Perform fetal heart rate interpretations and obstetric ultrasounds
- Manage complicated deliveries including C-sections and breech births
- Conduct laparoscopic surgeries and gynecological procedures
- Oversee routine deliveries including vaginal births and forceps deliveries
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure patient care
- Document patient information using Epic EMR system
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in OB/GYN is required
- Active Pennsylvania medical license is mandatory
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Experience managing both low-risk and high-risk obstetric cases
- Proficient in surgical gynecology techniques
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified (REQUIRED)
- Pennsylvania Medical License (REQUIRED)
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification (REQUIRED)
