Job Description
Job Title: Locum Physician - OB/GYN
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN physician to provide call coverage at a reputable hospital in Livingston Texas. This facility offers a supportive environment for both patients and professionals with comprehensive services in maternal and child health. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide labor and delivery call coverage handling emergencies and drop-ins from the ED.
- Perform required procedures including vaginal deliveries emergency C-sections and gynecological emergency surgeries.
- Collaborate with hospital staff and pediatricians to ensure optimal patient care.
- Utilize the Paragon EMR system for patient documentation.
- Maintain availability during specified shifts and respond promptly to on-call situations.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
- Completion of OB/GYN Fellowship - REQUIRED
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice history - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Texas medical license - REQUIRED
- BLS and ACLS certifications - REQUIRED
- Availability for all listed dates for consideration - REQUIRED
