Youll be the strategic catalyst who optimizes Amazons inbound freight systems turning intricate challenges into streamlined high-performance solutions that impact global transportation efficiency.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead transformative cross-functional logistics programs with strategic vision and tactical precision
- Develop comprehensive roadmaps for network optimization focusing on inbound speed cost reduction and resource utilization
- Establish centralized performance management frameworks that enable data-driven decision-making
- Facilitate collaboration between diverse stakeholder groups to align on key metrics and strategic objectives
- Design and implement advanced planning systems that enhance network responsiveness and efficiency

Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic planning and hands-on problem-solving. Youll dive deep into Amazons global logistics ecosystem identifying optimization opportunities across transportation networks. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams analyze performance metrics and develop creative solutions that enhance network fluidity and reduce operational costs.

- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical/IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc.)
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross functionally with non-tech teams
- 5 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Masters degree
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes project management and schedules
- Experience of Six Sigma/Lean analytical techniques

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
