You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailSupport the MP Engineering Manager in developing managing and controlling the overall MP/DES Engineering strategy objectives roadmap management plan resource plan and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ensure availability and implementation of digital initiatives and execution of the integrated digital process management plan including digital product solutions (e.g. AVEVA 1D databases 2D schematics 3D models Autodesk Navisworks) smart tools (iTools) data management solutions (Quantum NNG Informatica PowerShell) and reporting tools (Power BI) across all MP Projects.
Support execution and control of asset data management equipment tagging and facilities numbering across all MP projects.
Ensure availability and consistency of engineering method statements and procedures covering the planning execution coordination and control of engineering activities in line with applicable policies standards guidelines and best practices.
Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders such as engineering digital business solutions and operations departments to support digitalization strategies.
Provide tools and techniques for engineering reporting and benchmarking; monitor progress with MP Projects and support timely delivery of engineering dossiers.
Manage review and optimization of engineering business processes.
Support engineering audits assurance reviews and readiness reviews as per approved engineering gates throughout project lifecycles.
Manage the MP Methods and Digital Team ensuring timely support for ongoing projects with high-quality deliverables.
Assist the MP Engineering Manager in the preparation execution and monitoring of engineering strategies roadmaps objectives and KPIs.
Develop and maintain the MP Engineering Resource Management Plan and associated tools/templates for staffing processes.
Develop contractual documents related to digital requirements and support the PMT during contract tendering evaluation execution and close-out.
Support overall project close-out including documentation (As-builts deficiencies and database handovers) for 1D 2D 3D models and tag registers.
Ensure effective execution of digital process plans and product solutions across projects.
Manage full lifecycle processes for equipment tagging and facilities numbering including data tools and registers (e.g. Quantum NNG Informatica).
Lead implementation of iTools and iPDF development across projects ensuring standards compliance for document uploading.
Oversee implementation and maintenance of AVEVA Unified Engineering Products AIM and smart tools across projects.
Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors to implement fit-for-purpose technologies and tools.
Ensure development and consistent application of engineering methods procedures templates checklists and technical documentation.
Support development of technical standards guidelines and notes.
Conduct reviews to optimize current engineering processes.
Develop multidisciplinary engineering benchmark databases and gather key project data across phases.
Facilitate lessons learned capture and integration across projects.
Conduct internal digital and engineering audits to ensure compliance with processes and standards.
Perform contractor audits during all project phases including tendering design construction support and close-out.
Produce weekly/monthly steering reports covering progress risk change technical issues and resource status to support decision-making.
Develop centralized reporting tools (e.g. Power BI dashboards) and manage risk/change activities for engineering phases.
Maintain a regularly updated engineering risk register and implement mitigation measures.
Support deviation management with the Engineering Manager and Technical Authority and ensure alignment across project packages.
Assist document control in the development and execution of as-built and final documentation handover processes.
Promote and comply with applicable safety instructions and procedures.
Ensure all activities align with corporate values policies standards and applicable legal/regulatory requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Maintain confidentiality of all information encountered during the course of work.
Master s degree in a technical discipline.
Minimum of 15 years experience in onshore/offshore oil & gas projects.
At least 5 years of engineering team leadership experience in offshore projects.
Strong technical knowledge across disciplines.
Proficient in smart/digital engineering tools (e.g. AVEVA Unified Engineering AVEVA AIM tagging tools reporting/progress software).
Solid understanding of data management and asset data library control.
Good knowledge of relevant industry codes standards and safety legislation.
Familiar with oil & gas project structures and management systems.
Fluent in English; strong communication and leadership skills.
Computer literate and adaptable in multicultural project environments.
