ARACY the Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth is a dynamic national independent health promotion NGO focused on improving the wellbeing of children and young people. TQKP Purpose

The Thriving Queensland Kids Partnership (TQKP) is a coalition and intermediary an initiative of and hosted by ARACY the Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth with Queensland partners. TQKPs purpose is to catalyse systems to change the odds for Queensland children and young people to thrive.

To achieve this TQKP is:

bringing people organisations and sectors together

using what we know and learn

supporting leaders and catalysts and

facilitating collaborative action innovation and development.

We believe that by doing this we can build better connections capabilities and capacities in the key areas of concerted leadership smarter investment enabled caregivers and communities integrated delivery and putting data evidence and experience to work.

This means an eco-system better equipped and stewarded and working together well to:

reduce the experience and consequences of inequity and adversity and

improve opportunities capabilities and outcomes so all Queensland kids have a great start and journey in life.

In this role.

You will support the implementation of the QLD Place Network -Established to address the systemic challenges facing children and young people in their communities. The Network brings together QLD place-based initiatives governments and philanthropy- It aims to build shared infrastructure that enables coordination strengthens capability fosters learning improves efficiencies and drives innovation all grounded in the wisdom of local communities and the principle of places supporting places.

As part of this work you will also cultivate strong relationships with senior leaders across government corporate philanthropic and community sectors to facilitate cross-sector collaboration to support the delivery of TQKPs purpose.

About You

  • Substantial relevant practical experience in strategic partnerships social impact strategy stakeholder engagement or systems-level collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-value and complex partnerships involving multiple stakeholders and sectors.
  • Strong understanding of policy and systems impacting young people particularly across government and philanthropic ecosystems.
  • Experience with strategic planning negotiation and influence at senior levels.
  • Experience in managing teams or mentoring team members with a focus on building capability in partnerships and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with collective impact systems thinking and/or place-based approaches to social change.

The benefits

TQKP offers flexible working arrangements and is located in central Brisbane. A remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant commensurate with skills and experience.
