Job Description
What Youll Do:
Do you enjoy working directly with clients Are you someone with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Enjoy working directly with clients to make a sale Can you develop creative engagement opportunities to promote hotel services As the Executive Meeting Manager/Group Sales Manager youll be responsible for attracting clients. With your organizational skill and attention to detail youll plan meetings and events ensuring that they are executed flawlessly. You will also be responsible for soliciting past and new business and ensuring guests are satisfied.
Here are some of the tasks youll be responsible for regularly:
- Prospect for new business through individual creativity and innovation.
- Negotiate contracts ensuring that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented.
- Follow proper event management procedures for event execution.
- Respond to all leads and RFPs within 24 hours.
- Sell guest rooms catering services and banquet facilities to guests.
- Manage accounts.
- Conduct site inspections.
- Network through participation in community and professional associations activities and events.
Where Youve Been:
Were looking for someone with a 1 year of experience in F&B and at least a year in sales. You are someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and can work well under pressure. Most importantly you are a people person! You must work professionally and positively with guests and clients at all times.
