Job Title: Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative
Location: Onsite
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role focuses on supporting a specific sales territory ensuring excellent customer communication and providing accurate timely assistance to meet our clients needs. The ideal candidate is reliable eager to learn and committed to building strong relationships with both customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers within an assigned territory providing prompt and professional communication.
Process customer orders inquiries and requests accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify opportunities resolve issues and support account growth.
Utilize SAP (preferred) or other systems to manage orders track shipments and maintain accurate records.
Develop an understanding of our steel-related products and manufacturing processes to better serve customers.
Take clear detailed notes to ensure follow-up actions are completed without errors.
Coordinate with production logistics and other departments to ensure on-time delivery and quality service.
Uphold company standards for dependability by maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications:
Previous Customer Service Representative (CSR) or inside sales experience preferred.
Background in the steel industry or manufacturing environment is a plus.
Experience using SAP or similar ERP software strongly preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Reliable detail-oriented and committed to meeting deadlines.
Ability to learn quickly take initiative and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
