Salary Grade: NC10 Salary Range: $41655.00-$72897.00
This position is in the Appraisal Section of the Right of Way Unit and will be performing the many and varied tasks required to satisfy the needs of the Right of Way Unit as it relates to the administrative work working with consultants and contracting in the Appraisal Office. This position will develop order and pay invoices on all Appraisal contracts in the Area. This position also develops orders and pays all invoices associated with Right of Way cost estimates in the Area. The employee in this position prepares maintains and delivers monthly reports and appraisal fee proposals/contracts/invoices/transmittals in a timely manner. This position also processes payroll and expenses in SAP and distributes the most current highway plans to the appropriate staff appraiser fee appraiser or consultant. Additional duties include managing the appraisal consultant workload in the area and assigning contracts based on scheduling availability and current project involvement. This position also checks for accuracy of appraisal requests and maintains record keeping appraisal files. This is the lead position in the Appraisal Section of the Right of Way Unit. The position is expected to provide courteous customer service in a professional manner to both internal and external customers prepare maintain and deliver monthly reports and appraisal fee proposals/contracts/invoices/transmittals in a timely manner. This position will process expenses in SAP and distribute the most current highway plans to the appropriate staff appraiser fee appraiser or consultant. Additional duties include checking for accuracy of appraisal requests and maintaining record keeping appraisal files. This position will also transmit Approved Appraisals to Division Office State Appraiser and/or Consultants.
The program area for this position includes one or more of the following: knowledge of or in experience appraisal work experience working with legal documents experience in accounts payable/receivable and/or Experience with Right of Way Appraisal practices standards and Appraisal contracts.

Bachelors degree from appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
