Logistics Manager
Job Summary:The Logistics Manager in this PMC role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the logistics plans and activities of multiple PMCs involved in a project. This role ensures that all logistics operations are aligned efficient and meet the projects requirements and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordination and Integration:
- Act as the primary liaison between the main PMC and other PMCs for logisticsrelated matters.
- Ensure seamless integration of logistics plans across all PMCs involved in the project.
Logistics Planning and Management:
- Support in development and implementation of comprehensive logistics strategies in collaboration with other PMCs.
- Support in development of logistics studies and plans for Modularization works
- Review the Logistics studies and plans of Modularization Contractors and ensure its adequacy for Project requirements.
- Monitor and manage the logistics schedules to ensure timely delivery of modules materials and services.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with project requirements legal standards and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate logistics records and documentation.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential logistics risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on logistics performance and risk factors.
Logistics Agencies Supplier and Contractor Coordination:
- Coordinate with logistics agencies and PMCs to ensure quality and timely delivery of modules goods and services.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and vendor performance evaluations.
Budget and Cost Control:
- Monitor logistics budgets and ensure costeffective operations.
- Report on logistics expenditures and identify costsaving opportunities.
Team Management:
- Supervise coach and train logistics staff within the PMC and other PMCs.
- Ensure the logistics team meets productivity accuracy and timeliness targets.
Issue Resolution:
- Address and resolve any logistics issues.
- Implement solutions to improve logistics processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of Total 15 years of work experience
- Minimum 10 years in logistics management preferably within EPC or PMC environment in oil gas or petrochemical projects.
- Preference to experience in KSA or GCC countries
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
