POSITION SUMMARY
Planning and Coordination
- Review and develop detailed implementation plans budgets risk matrices and procurement frameworks.
- Foster cohesive planning and operational synergy among consortium partners.
- Facilitate stakeholder and community engagement through partner coordination.
Project Implementation
- Lead project start-up processes and strategic direction.
- Provide technical guidance
- Guide the adoption of innovations and good practices across partners.
- Oversee the development and execution of work plans and project close-out strategies.
Financial Oversight and Budgeting
- Collaborate with finance teams to forecast and monitor expenditures.
- Ensure budgetary compliance with donor requirements and CARE internal policies.
- Provide timely financial performance reviews and corrective measures.
Reporting and Monitoring
- Review project reports and consolidate submissions to donors and the consortium steering committee.
- Work closely with the MEAL team to ensure data-driven implementation and adaptive learning.
- Lead project learning agenda and ensure alignment with resilience outcomes.
Partnership and Representation
- Represent CARE and the project in public forums government platforms and consortia networks.
- Promote visibility of project achievements and document lessons learned.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Rural/Urban Development Agriculture Climate Change DRR Marketing Economics or a related field.
- Experience:
- Experience and knowledge in the implementation of resilience livelihoods and private sector development projects (preferably in urban contexts).
- Minimum 10 years experience in:
- Managing complex resilience or economic empowerment in developing contexts preferably in urban settings.
- Managing partnerships involving government civil society and the private sector.
- Private sector engagement entrepreneurship promotion or market systems approaches.
- Managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Skills:
- Excellent leadership and coordination abilities.
- Sound knowledge of Community-Based Adaptation and climate resilience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in program budgeting and reporting.
