Job Description

Join a leading provider of advanced pig genetics and commercial breeding solutions across Africa near Bronkhorstspruit to manage cutting-edge AI station operations support high-yield breeding programs and contribute to herd health biosecurity and genetic excellence.

The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for managing the stations daily operations including semen collection and processing animal health staff supervision and administrative duties. A background in agriculture or animal science is advantageous. Flexibility in working hours and a structured detail-oriented approach is essential.

A competitive remuneration package is offered which may include accommodation on the farm. (There are currently two positions available and applications from couples who are both suitably qualified and experienced will also be considered.)

Key Responsibilities:

Customer communication and liaison
Collection evaluation and dilution of boar semen
Overseeing semen collection and boar house management
Herd health biosecurity and general farming operations
Farm maintenance logistics and security
Laboratory work and management
Orders stock control and general administration
Record-keeping and staff management
