Job Description
A leading filtration solutions provider is seeking a Cape Town-based Application Specialist to support all market segments (Industrial Food & Beverage Pharmaceutical) with a strong focus on technical business development and solution design. This is a field-based role operating independently from a home office when not traveling.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across various industries.
- Provide technical consultation including site visits solution trials and product demonstrations.
- Assist in the design and presentation of customized filtration systems.
- Engage clients with compelling technical proposals and value-driven insights.
- Collaborate with regional managers and the technical team to execute sales strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and solution performance.
Requirements
- BSc or NDip in Chemical Engineering Biotechnology or related field.
- 1-2 years experience in technical sales or field service (internship may be considered).
- Self-driven and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
- Willingness to travel within the region.
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
