Position Summary:
Our client is seeking an Application Engineer/Estimator to join their team of skilled engineers and manufacturing professionals. This role plays a key part in providing accurate competitive pricing for the design production and repair of industrial gears and gear drives.
From analyzing customer specifications to determining materials production costs and logistics you will be at the center of transforming client needs into precise executable solutions. Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Mechanical Manufacturing or related Engineering field (or equivalent work experience).
- Ideal background: ME IE or Process Engineer with 5 years in the gear industry.
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods for parallel axis gears preferred.
- Experience in quoting industrial gears and gear drives is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Baan MRP software is beneficial.
- Strong ability to read and interpret customer drawings.
- Creative problem-solver with excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented and adaptable.
