Role: Assistant Manager Proposal Writer Centre of Excellence for PwDs Mumbai

Key Responsibilities
- Grant and Proposal Development: This is a crucial part of the role. You will be responsible for conceptualizing innovative projects in the field of disability writing research papers and reports and preparing compelling proposals to secure funding.
- Project Management & Delivery: Collaborate closely with partners ensuring projects meet their objectives adhere to timelines and provide a high-quality experience for beneficiaries. You will also be responsible for managing project expectations and handling diverse stakeholders.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly monitor projects through site visits and data evaluation to track progress and ensure targets are achieved. You will also initiate impact assessments to determine project success and plan future actions.
- Knowledge Management: Continuously research best practices in the disability sector both globally and in India. You will engage with experts youth and Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) to brainstorm and develop new ideas.
- Promotion and Branding: Create promotional materials and case studies from projects to share with the branding team and use on social media and websites.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications: A Bachelors Degree in Social Work from a recognized institution is required. A Masters degree in Social Work or a related field is preferred.
- Specialization: A degree or specialized training in the field of disability is mandatory.
- Experience: Field experience in the disability sector is highly prioritized.
- Additional Skills (Preferred): Hands-on experience with social projects survey design and impact assessment. Knowledge of statistical software is also a plus.
