Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location: El Paso TX

Service Setting: Inpatient

Coverage Type: Clinical Only

Coverage Period: 11/15/2025 Open

Clinical Shift Schedule: Flexible schedule 7 shifts per month

Starting 11/15/2025 Ongoing

Patient Demographics: Adults

Admissions: Yes

Rounding: Included

Phone Consults: Yes

Case Mix: General Hospitalist cases

FACILITY INFORMATION

Specialty Backup Available: Yes

Support Staff Available: Physicians and APPs

Reason for Coverage: Coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Rate: Daily OT after 12 hours (based on differential); Weekly OT after 168 hours (based on fixed)

Travel Lodging and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Texas State PA License

Board: NCCPA Board Certified

DEA: Active DEA with Texas address

Certifications: ACLS CME within past 2 years immunization records (TB Flu Hep B MMR Varicella)

Experience: Case logs from the past 2 years

Other Qualifications: Copies of all education and training diplomas SS card drivers license color photo telehealth experience not required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide hospitalist coverage as a Physician Assistant with flexible scheduling

Manage admissions rounding and phone consults

Ensure timely patient care and documentation

Collaborate with physicians and specialty backup teams

Comply with credentialing immunization and licensing requirements
