Job Summary
This is a remote position.
Are you ready to bring your e-commerce expertise to a growing online retail team Were looking for a motivated E-Commerce Assistant who thrives in a remote environment and enjoys making a direct impact on customers and online store operations.
- Contract type: Independent Contractor
- Schedule: 25 hours a week; Monday to Friday 5 hours a day flexible within Central business hours
- Multi-platform e-commerce management across website eBay and Walmart
- Direct communication and collaboration with business owner
- Opportunity for role expansion as the business grows
- Handle customer email communications (representing 50-60% of the role)
- Update website content including adding new products and adjusting pricing
- Manage and assist with eBay store operations
- Support Walmart store management and updates
- Learn automotive product knowledge to assist customers effectively
- Process and respond to customer inquiries on time
Requirements
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and website management
- Strong written communication skills for email correspondence
- Familiarity with eBay and ideally Walmart marketplace operations
- Ability to learn product knowledge quickly particularly automotive products
- Detail-oriented approach to pricing and product updates
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
