About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented HR Executive to support day-to-day human resources operations in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be skilled in handling both administrative HR tasks and employee engagement activities while ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies. This role involves working closely with both management and shop-floor employees to maintain a productive and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment including job postings shortlisting interviews and onboarding for both office and factory roles.
- Maintain employee records attendance and leave management systems.
- Support payroll preparation by providing accurate attendance and HR data.
- Assist in organizing training programs safety awareness sessions and employee engagement activities.
- Ensure HR policies are communicated and followed across the organization.
- Handle basic employee relations matters including grievances and queries.
- Assist in compliance with labour laws health & safety regulations and factory ordinance requirements.
- Coordinate with department heads to address staffing and HR-related needs.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain up-to-date documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management Business Administration or related field.
- 13 years of HR experience preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Good understanding of Sri Lankan labour laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
- Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
