Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Swindon to assist with the appointment of an Assistant HR Business Partner on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 27.00 - 34.70 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely HR advice in line with Council policies and employment law
- Support and coach managers with HR issues including disciplinary grievance and attendance
- Liaise with trade unions and represent HR in meetings regarding employee matters
- Manage redeployment opportunities and support job evaluations
- Analyse and present HR data and trends (e.g. absence grievances performance)
Essential Requirements:
- CIPD qualified or working towards
- Solid experience providing HR advice in a complex organisation
- Experience managing HR casework (disciplinary grievance sickness performance)
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Strong communication problem-solving and data analysis skills

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
