E-Commerce Studio Production Intern
Department: Ecommerce Studio Production
Location: 77 Bloor St W Toronto Ontario M5S 1M2
Reports To: Studio Production Coordinator / Studio Manager
Type: Unpaid Internship with weekly Honorarium Fully On site
Duration: Sept 2 2025 - Dechours/week
About the Role:
Were looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented E-commerce Studio Production Intern to support the day-to-day operations of our studio. This hands-on internship is ideal for someone passionate about fashion photography and visual merchandising who wants to gain experience in a fast-paced e-commerce production environment.
The intern will work closely with the studio team to ensure samples are accurately tracked garments are prepared to shoot-ready standards and styling is consistent across On-Figure and Off-Figure assets.
Key Responsibilities
Sample Management:
- Receive log and organize incoming product samples using internal tracking tools or systems.
- Coordinate returns and communicate sample status across teams (production merchandising etc.).
- Maintain an organized and efficient sample room and/or staging area to ensure quick access for shoots.
Garment Preparation:
- Steam lint-roll and prep garments to meet photography standards.
- Tag and organize looks for On-Figure shoots and Off-Figure sessions.
- Identify damages or discrepancies in samples and report them to the appropriate team.
Styling Support:
- Assist stylists with wardrobe pulls dressing models and organizing outfits on set.
- Help style mannequins or flats to meet brand visual standards.
- Prepare and manage styling kits tools and props used in shoots.
Studio Operations:
- Support production crew during shoot days helping to maintain flow and timing.
- Help with set resets between shoots and maintain a clean and safe studio environment.
- Participate in daily production prep and post-shoot wrap-up tasks.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in Fashion Photography Visual Merchandising or a related field where an internship is a requirement to graduate.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Covered by WSIB through your educational institution.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to multitask and work under tight timelines.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced creative environment with physical tasks (e.g. steaming dressing mannequins lifting samples).
- Interest or basic knowledge of styling studio production and fashion photography is a plus.
