Job Description

Whether youre a seasoned OTA or just starting your career wed love to connect with you!Apply now and make this school year your most meaningful one yet!School-based occupational therapy assistant positions are available in Massachusetts early childhood programs and elementary schools. School-based experience preferred. Will consider new grads with pediatric affiliation. Flexible scheduling and school hours. Dynamic practice and supportive environment with mentoring available for practitioners looking for a change in practice setting. 1 OTA position 5 days/week Early Childhood2 OTA positions 5 days/week Elementary Level1 OTA position 4 days/week Elementary Level1 OTA position 3 days/week Elementary Leve1. Make appropriate occupational therapy referrals and program recommendations with input from clinical supervisor as appropriate.2. Plan and implement occupational therapy interventions to identified students with input from clinical supervisor as appropriate.3. Record occupational therapy progress regularly and modify treatment accordingly.4. Consult with teachers and other professionals to supplement and complement other therapeutic and educational efforts.5. Provide parent education and consultation as appropriate.6. Attend scheduled team meetings and report on student progress.7. Participate in program development as appropriate.8. Provide input to clinical supervisor regarding caseload program issues and upcoming evaluations/referrals.9. Prepare required written occupational therapy progress notes and IEPs with input from clinical supervisor as appropriate.10. Maintain all necessary and appropriate records for public schools.
