Job Description
Position Summary:
Are you a passionate mental health professional seeking a meaningful role in childrens lives Join our multidisciplinary treatment team as a School-Based Therapist at Rossiter Elementary School and make a direct impact in a school this role youll provide therapeutic services to students and families contribute to treatment planning and support students emotional behavioral and academic success through evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual group and family therapy for school-aged children.
- Conduct clinical assessments treatment plans and discharge plans.
- Participate actively in treatment team IEP student care and clinical meetings.
- Deliver psychoeducation to students and their families.
- Address family dynamics and psychosocial environmental educational and cultural factors impacting student well-being.
- Coordinate care and serve as liaison among students families schools and community providers.
- Support students in crisis including leading safety planning and utilizing de-escalation and restraint protocols when necessary.
- Lead therapeutic summer programming including experiential learning activities and field trips.

Education training and experience:
- Graduation from an accredited Masters degree program in social work counseling marriage and family therapy psychology or a closely related field is required.
- 2 years of experience working with children who are emotionally disturbed is of training and/or experience in individual group and family therapy is preferred.
- Must possess advanced skills in oral and written communication as well as working knowledge of various theories their implications and human development.
Certification/licensure:
- Current candidates license in the state of Montana (PCLC SWLC etc.)
- Eligible for licensure as LCPC LCSW or LMFT in the State of Montana and actively working towards Montana licensure per the Board of Behavioral Health requirements.
