Were actively searching for our next Plant Human Resources Manager to join our growing this role you will be responsible for managing the Human Resources department at our growing Nicholasville KY location. We are looking for someone that is able to strategically lead manage facilitate connect and build relationships with our plant personnel and the surrounding community. You will manage a small team lead Human Resources for approximately 200 employees and be a strategic partner for the Plant Director and Corporate HR candidates must be able to work in our Nicholasville KY location.
Role Responsibilities:
Lead HR support at a manufacturing facility experiencing significant transformation.
Responsible for developing and implementing employee relations practices and strategies including the following: employee engagement wage and salary administration selection and staffing orientation and training organizational development performance management succession planning and conflict resolution.
Influence coach and provide guidance to the plant leadership team and employees regarding HR practices policies and procedures.
Demonstrate a growth mindset that understands the organizations goals and strategies; can effectively translate this direction into strategic and operational people practices.
Partner with Operations leadership and other key stakeholders to drive HR and operational strategies.
Responsible for leading investigations and proposing any related corrective action.
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for the entire site.
Lead HR-related projects and initiatives both within the site and the broader HR Organization.
Manage a team of one HR professional.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in human resource management business or related field.
8 years of progressive human resources experience.
2 years of human resources management experience
Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
HR certifications are ideal (ie SCP Senior Certified Professional)
Masters degree in HR-related discipline
Excellent knowledge of Human Resources practices; working knowledge of HR related laws and regulations
Possess knowledge of management; the principles practices and procedures of Human Resources Management
Strong communication skills problem solving skills and negotiation skills
Ability to plan coordinate and direct the work of others
Experience conducting employment related investigations
Solid analytical skills and ability to understand the business context and strategy
Ability to effectively work on multiple assignments while responding to frequent interruptions and changing priorities
Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
