Job Description
As a Data and Benefits Analyst you will manage the RFP process gather and analyze employee benefits data and prepare cost analysis presentations for clients. Youll collaborate closely with insurance carriers and clients to deliver accurate impactful insights that support strategic decision-making in the benefits space.
Job Overview
Shift: Monday to Friday 08:00 AM 05:00 PM CST
Work setup: Work from Home / Remote
Your Daily Tasks
- Gather census claims and plan information from current clients
- Construct precise and comprehensive presentations for clients utilizing Excel and other platforms
- Organize and submit requests to insurance carriers
- Manage RFP process including follow-up questions and timelines
- Build relationships with carrier sales representatives
- Gain familiarity with PPACA and common industry terms and practices
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
- 1-3 years experience in employee benefits or a related field (further training will be provided)
- Excellent verbal/written and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and able to reprioritize with minimal supervision
- Computer proficiency especially in Word Excel and PowerPoint
- NY State Health Life & Accident License preferred
- Bachelor s Degree and/or equivalent related experience
Preferred Background
- Experience in data analysis
- Familiarity with the RFP (Request for Proposal) process
- Proficiency in Power BI
- Proficient in English at a professional level or higher
