Salary:MPS- UPS 31650 - 49084 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern:This is a fixed term maternity cover position working 1.0 FTEper week 39weeks per year. Start date1st January 2026 (or 1st December 2025 if available).

Are you passionate about English and ready to inspire the next generation of learners We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicatedTeacher of Englishto join our successful and supportive department atThe Park Community Schoolin Barnstaple North Devon.

This is a one-year maternity cover in the first instance with the potential to become a permanent post. It offers an exciting opportunity for both early career and experienced teachers to contribute to a well-established team delivering an ambitious and fully resourced curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4. We will also consider applications from exceptional unqualified teachers. We follow the Eduqas GCSE specifications for English Language and Literature and offer Film Studies as an additional option.
