Job Description Summary

Digital Nacelle Program deployment leader is accountable for the efficient effective and time constrained deployment of the selected set of tools (toolbox) designed to support the Nacelle Wind Manufacturing sites and assure quality of our Nacelles by using digital technologies.

The toolbox can grow with new tools if decided by Wind Manufacturing leadership team. Once that the pilot(s) is executed and toolbox is defined the Digital Nacelle Program deployment leader will:

Propose the priorities and timeline: the Digital Nacelle roadmap with inputs from the sites. This roadmap will be presented and approved by steering committee
Report timely the progress of Digital Nacelle Program to the steering committee (biweekly)
Prepare the detailed specification and align the content withsourcing and legal. Focus of the specification has to be the expected outcomes not the process itself or functional details
Onboard the potential supplier and prepare and align the frame purchase agreements (with sourcing and legal) which will have clear clauses/expectations related to machine performance and the corresponding penalties in case of deviation.
Workwith allthe plants to prepare the general business case
This business case will specify the SQDC KPIs that will be influenced by the tool from the current baseline X to the reach the expected target Y.
The KPI progress has to be presented in the program reviews by the corresponding sites
Present general business case for approval to the steering committee
Monitor the deployment by the sites follow up on schedule. Align with local site responsible SAT and FAT
Define and assure the know-how transfer from site to site
Align with engineering the corresponding documentation (WI or similar)

Job Description

  • Required:
    • Bachelors from an accredited university or college with at least 6 years of experience in Industrial Technology and/or Manufacturing.
    • Ability to travel to all globally supporting plants for periods of up to (8 weeks) if needed
    • Background: Quality operations Sourcing Finance Legal Engineering Lean
    • Relevant experience in deployment of projects through different sites/continents
    • Project management knowledge and experience
    • Able to technically understand/implement nacelles manufacturing technology

  • Desirable:
    • Ability to work with multicultural teams
    • Nacelle manufacturing deep knowledge
    • Automation machinery engineering knowledge
    • Industrial Technology AI Industrial software

The base pay range for this position is $103100.00 -$171800.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation of 15%.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
