The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join the team in Hazelwood MO; Chicago IL; North Charleston SC; or Seattle WA.
As a Senior ServiceNow Developer you are an integral team member of our Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) organization supporting Corporate Functions responsible for the design and development of core ServiceNow capabilities in accordance with client requirements. Teams work with various clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements current architecture and approach needed for success of the engagement. Developers provide tool and capability recommendations based on your experience and research of the current product functionality.
Position Responsibilities:
Support the design development and continuous improvement of enterprise Service Management solutions in ServiceNow
Follow industry standards the successful candidate will collaborate with the existing internal ServiceNow team (and customers) on activities and development projects
Develop efforts will include (but are not limited to) custom portal pages modules API and software integrations customized web pages User interface policies scripts etc.
Participate in administration of ServiceNow to include upgrades updates etc.
Maintain technical expertise relevant industry standards and best practices in ServiceNow
Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into systems solutions that acknowledge technical schedule and cost constraints
Develop creative technical solutions to complex problems
Work is performed based on documented Project Implementation Plans
Exercise judgment in methods techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
Apply technical expertise and knowledge of other related disciplines
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 years of experience in at least one ServiceNow product (ITSM ITBM GRC CRM)
5 years of experience with ServiceNow development including core ITSM tables Glide scripting UI actions scheduled jobs business rules client scripts data imports custom apps and a development method
5 years of experience with web hosted applications including X-HTML CSS3 SQL XML jQuery or Angular and one or more of the following back-end technologies: JavaScript Java or ColdFusion integrations
Experience designing and implementing IT and Non-IT related process workflows procedures and technical standards
Experience in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including client requirement analysis and system design
Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
Current Agile SCRUM or SAFe certifications
Current Certified Systems Admin or other ServiceNow certifications
Experience with web services integration specifically Mid-Server SOAP and REST
Experience with ServiceNows HR Service Delivery or Governance Risk and Compliance products
