The Chewy Payments team plays a key role in delivering a payment experiences that builds customer trust and drive business impact. From enabling new payment capabilities to optimize transaction success and unlocking new financial offerings our team ensures Chewy is at the forefront of customer-first commerce.

We are seeking an Associate Director Product Manager - Payment Innovation to join our team in Seattle WA Boston MA or Plantation FL offices and play a pivotal role in the customer payments space. This role will own strategy development and execution of a new client facing financial experience that expands how Chewy shows up in moments that matter to pet parents. Your effort from early definition through go-to-market while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners external suppliers and Chewy leadership are vital to forward thinking approach moving forward. You will report into the Director of Payments Fraud and Gift Cards.

What Youll Do:

  • Define and implement a product roadmap for a new customer-facing financial offering passionate about driving dedication trust and long-term engagement.
  • Deliver end-to-end product lifecycle from early concept development to partner selection systems integration servicing design and launch.
  • Translate customer needs and business strategy into clear product requirements and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering finance legal marketing analytics and external partners to bring the product to life.
  • Develop and implement key performance metrics to monitor product health customer adoption and engagement outcomes.
  • Serve as the connective tissue across internal and external Team Members ensuring alignment and accountability at every stage.
  • Deliver product documentation insights and updates to senior leadership on roadmap resourcing risks and achievements.

What Youll Need:

  • 7 years of experience in product management with 4 years in payments FinTech Loyalty or other experiences.
  • Bachelors degree in business technology finance or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working on or with credit card programs is a plus - especially roles involving partners card networks or servicing design.
  • Ability to lead product development involving systems and integrations.
  • Strong and thinking skills with the ability to develop cases evaluate tradeoffs and ambiguity into action.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including experience making pitches to Team Members.
  • Tight-knit collaboration and team member management abilities.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced high-ambiguity environments with a sense of ownership.
  • A passion for building products that build both and value.

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid Model: 3 days in hub location per week
  • Remote: This role is NOT a remote role.
