We are seeking an Associate Director Product Manager - Payment Innovation to join our team in Seattle WA Boston MA or Plantation FL offices and play a pivotal role in the customer payments space. This role will own strategy development and execution of a new client facing financial experience that expands how Chewy shows up in moments that matter to pet parents. Your effort from early definition through go-to-market while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners external suppliers and Chewy leadership are vital to forward thinking approach moving forward. You will report into the Director of Payments Fraud and Gift Cards.
What Youll Do:
- Define and implement a product roadmap for a new customer-facing financial offering passionate about driving dedication trust and long-term engagement.
- Deliver end-to-end product lifecycle from early concept development to partner selection systems integration servicing design and launch.
- Translate customer needs and business strategy into clear product requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering finance legal marketing analytics and external partners to bring the product to life.
- Develop and implement key performance metrics to monitor product health customer adoption and engagement outcomes.
- Serve as the connective tissue across internal and external Team Members ensuring alignment and accountability at every stage.
- Deliver product documentation insights and updates to senior leadership on roadmap resourcing risks and achievements.
What Youll Need:
- 7 years of experience in product management with 4 years in payments FinTech Loyalty or other experiences.
- Bachelors degree in business technology finance or equivalent experience.
- Experience working on or with credit card programs is a plus - especially roles involving partners card networks or servicing design.
- Ability to lead product development involving systems and integrations.
- Strong and thinking skills with the ability to develop cases evaluate tradeoffs and ambiguity into action.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including experience making pitches to Team Members.
- Tight-knit collaboration and team member management abilities.
- Ability to work in fast-paced high-ambiguity environments with a sense of ownership.
- A passion for building products that build both and value.
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid Model: 3 days in hub location per week
- Remote: This role is NOT a remote role.
