Position: Risk Manager - Insurance
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Manager to join a leading insurance company in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance risk management with a deep understanding of best practices and regulatory requirements. The Risk Manager will be responsible for identifying evaluating and managing potential risks that could impact the companys operations financial stability and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management policies procedures and strategies in line with the companys goals and objectives
- Identify potential risks and evaluate their potential impact on the companys operations and financial stability
- Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation plans to minimize potential threats
- Monitor and report on key risk indicators and provide recommendations for risk reduction
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure the companys risk management practices are up-to-date
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as regulators and insurance providers
- Conduct regular training and awareness sessions to educate employees on risk management best practices
- Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and make recommendations for improvements
- Continuously review and improve risk management processes and procedures to enhance the companys risk management capabilities
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Risk Management Finance or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management preferably in a consulting or financial services environment
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles methodologies and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and assess potential risks
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation plans
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and risk management software
- Arabic and English Fluency
