Job Description

The Credit Assistant is accountable for performing a wide variety of credit functions in an accurate and timely manner including but not limited to assisting the Credit & AR Manager and AR Coordinator with credit and collection management and providing administrative support.

The Exponential Technology Group (XTG) is a specialist in the electronic component distribution and design engineering services industries. This position will be onsite in North Fort Worth with the opportunity to work from home two (2) days a week after the initial 90-day training period.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Gather compile and provide specialized daily bi-weekly and monthly reports for internal customers in various departments utilizing Yukon Intacct Microsoft Dynamics 365 Microsoft Excel and Internet.

Print and distribute invoices upon request from internal and external customers.

Administrative responsibilities include adding and maintaining system accounts assisting internal customers regarding specific issues with customer accounts.

Support internal and external customers in a manner which ensures total quality and effective customer service.

Effectively support the Accounts Receivable and Credit Manager by providing assistance in all areas as requested including but not limited to special projects cross training with team members researching issues and reporting unusual activity to the Corporate Controller. Review opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.

Prioritize and work the CD credit inbox for all requests.

Responsible for collections and the official back-up to AR Coordinator in all areas.

Responsible for portal billing for all XTG companies.

Additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). One to three years administrative or customer service experience; or related experience in a corporate/collections environment. Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience strongly preferred.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced high transaction environment with strong organizational attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Outlook and Word. Ability to learn other software packages.
  • Strong typing/data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams with a collaborative interpersonal style.
  • Exhibit a strong customer service focus with a strong sense of urgency in responding to customer needs.
  • Interact effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet required deadlines.
  • Exhibit good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid decision-making skills including ability to analyze impact of decisions before execution.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds.
