We are currently seeking a skilled Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner)/PA (Physicians Assistant) this role you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality medical care to patients in the internal medicine department. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing illnesses developing treatment plans and ensuring the well-being of all individuals under your care. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients conditions.
- Develop and implement patient management plans.
- Prescribe medications and monitor ongoing treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.
- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physicians Assistant (PA) license.
- Proven experience in a hospitalist or internal medicine setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in patient assessments.
- Proficiency in medical software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

No call requirement
Patient Volume: 13 per day
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
