Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic and customer-focused expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
Youll play a pivotal role in shaping our business development strategy driving market growth and securing new opportunities that make a tangible impact on sustainable mobility. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (Country/Cluster MDs Marketing & Strategy functions Tender Leaders and Finance teams) build strong relationships with customers and partners and ensure Alstoms solutions align with market needs and expectations.
Youll specifically take care of implementing lobbying strategies and consolidating market intelligence but also lead efforts to influence specifications and ensure smooth transitions from business development to tender phases.
Well look to you for:
Defining and implementing the Business Development strategy in alignment with regional business plans
Promoting Alstoms products and services to win new business and sustain market share
Compiling market intelligence on business trends customer needs and competitors strategies
Building and maintaining strong networks with decision-makers partners and external bodies
Ensuring compliance with Alstoms Ethics & Compliance rules in all business development actions
Supporting tender strategies and negotiations as needed

A graduate degree in Engineering or Business
Experience in the rail industry related business or project engineering
High proficiency in understanding and promoting Alstoms products and services
Strong knowledge of and connections with transport clients/customers in the region
Fluency in English and Swedish
Strategic thinking and the ability to influence decision-making processes
Strong communication networking and relationship-building skills
