Technical Business Analyst - AI and Data
The opportunity
As a Technical Business Analyst at the Senior Consultant rank you will support our clients in data analysis requirements gathering and designing data solutions aligned with their strategic objectives. You will be part of our delivery team and work consultatively across various data environments helping our clients solve their business problems.
In line with client requirements this role is based in ourBoorloo Perth Australia office.
Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Continuous process improvement the identification of innovative solutions through research and analysis insight and experience of best practices.
- Create requirement specifications analysing requirements creating visual models facilitating elicitation sessions and digging around in the data when needed.
- Design and build reports capture data requirements for the client and team.
- Data analysis using SQL DAX and/or other programming languages to analyse data when required to form business requirements.
- Manage or supervise team members to deliver complex technical initiatives with accountability for performance and results.
Skills and attributes for success
- Demonstrated experience creating requirements specifications analysing requirements creating visual models facilitating workshop sessions and using the necessary business analyst tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in a core domain of expertise this could include data migration processes (including planning execution and validation) modern web applications (including design systems) or other domains (e.g. SAP Integration platforms etc).
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and experience with SQL and programming skills such as Python and R.
Ideally youll also have the skills and attributes below but dont worry if you dont tick all the boxes. Were interested in your aptitude attitude and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge and experience in end-to-end project delivery either traditional SDLC or agile delivery methodologies (or hybrid approaches).
- Experience in engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate and present information with purpose clarity and impact
