The Business Partner - Data Analytics and Delivery is a pivotal member of the Data and Analytics team responsible for ensuring that both new and existing methods of producing information products are thoroughly understood and documented aligning with TALs risk appetite. This role involves engaging with various business analysts within the Data and Analytics team to comprehend both stated and unstated customer needs particularly focusing on Group Lifes reporting requirements.
Your key responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of a DA&D roadmap that aligns with business strategy customer outcomes and commercial goals.
- Secure stakeholder buy-in and adapt the roadmap as needed to reflect evolving priorities.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of recurring ad hoc and regulatory reports including leading the DA&D Regulatory Reporting virtual pod.
- Translate complex business problems into structured data requirements through consultation and collaboration
- Build trusted relationships across all levels of the Fund and with external partners promoting DA&D services and managing expectations.
- Partner with the Enterprise Data Platform team to deliver scalable solutions via the DAP framework.
- Lead and inspire high-performing diverse teams with a commitment to engagement and development.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree or higher in a Computer science IT Data Science analytics or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Data analytics and Delivery space
- Must have experience in translating business requirements to technical/analytical specifications
- Must have experience working with and documenting workflow and business processes
- Proficiency with SQL MS BI Stack (SSIS) Azure Data factory and Power BI.
- Life Insurance or Banking experience including knowledge of financial / actuarial valuation methods and processes
