JOB SCOPE
Serve as a strategic bridge between Business Units and the Business Technology (BT) organization driving data-informed decision-making streamlining processes and translating business needs into scalable technology solutions. This role ensures alignment with both regional directives in the local Mexico City region and BT standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic & Operational Alignment:
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather and interpret functional requirements.
- Ensure regional initiatives are consistent with global BT strategy standards and governance.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI Excel and SQL.
- Analyze data to support performance tracking business insights and strategic decisions.
Project Management
- Assist in planning executing and delivering BT projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope milestones and deliverables.
Process Optimization & Automation
- Identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements.
- Lead or support API integrations and digital transformation initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
- Act as a liaison between business units and the BT team to facilitate communication.
- Support change management efforts and drive user adoption of new tools and processes.
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE
Technical Skills:
-5 years of experience in business intelligence data analytics or IT-business interface roles.
-Proficient in:
- SQL (Oracle SQL Developer SQL Server)
- Power BI Excel (Advanced) DAX Power Query
- Python and Shell scripting (preferred)
-Demonstrated experience in:
- Developing business and commercial reports
- Managing data quality and compliance KPIs
- Leading API integrations and automation projects
-Strong analytical thinking communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Core Competencies:
- Fluent in English; Spanish or French is a plus.
- Highly valued certifications:
-Lean Six Sigma
-Data Analytics
-Finance for Non-Financials
-Project Management (e.g. PMP Agile)
Qualifications :
Education
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems Data Science Engineering or Business.
- Masters degree is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years working in agile team environments.
- Prior experience with Oracle systems is preferred.
