You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Missionary Recruitment Specialist guides new and potential missionaries through a discovery experience offering individualized mentorship discipleship and care as they explore missionary roles with East-West. They proactively recruit and mobilize long-term overseas missionaries and stateside ministry workers fostering their spiritual relational and emotional health throughout the coaching and assessment process. A key aspect of this role is gaining a deep understanding of the factors that impact missionary health as well as promoting resources and collaborations to prepare applicants. The specialist also represents the organization at various events and collaborates extensively with field ministry leaders and internal contacts.
This full-time position based at the East-West offices in Plano TX reports to the Recruitment Manager. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including employer-paid medical and dental insurance 403(b) and paid time off.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience within the discipline highly preferred
2-4 years minimum experience working in a similar role that may include recruitment cross-cultural missionary work mentorship discipleship or coaching
Experience living overseas as a missionary is required
Experience working for a missions organization or an organization focused on global outreach preferred
Uphold a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
