In this role youll clean and sanitize floors walls furniture and shared spaces in offices and other state buildings. Youll play a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness that support public health and help state operations run smoothly.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience in custodial or institutional cleaning is a plus-but well train the right person!
Knowledge of:
institutional cleaning techniques;
cleaning equipment and machinery;
cleaning chemicals and their uses.
Skill to:
operate machinery.
Ability to:
read and write;
follow instructions;
be on your feet for an entire 8-hour shift;
lift up to 50 pounds.
This position is eligible for Veterans Preference per ARSD 55:10:02:08.
